Microsoft Support For Older Versions of Windows Ends
End users are strongly encouraged to consider upgrading to Windows 7
or Windows 10 on
their existing computers or purchase a new computer using Windows 7 or
Windows 10.
Those using Windows 2003 server are strongly urged to upgrade to
Windows 2012 or newer as supported ended for Windows 2003 on July 14,
2015.
Windows Vista support is scheduled to end April 11, 2017.
Microsoft has officially ended public assisted support for Windows XP
and Office 2003 effective April 8, 2014. This means users will not receive any new security updates after this date.
Support for Windows 98, Windows 98SE, and Windows ME ended effective
July 11, 2006.
